MU softball slides into new season
Over 100 fans showed up to support the Missouri softball team as the players faced off against each other for a preseason scrimmage Saturday at Devine Pavilion in Columbia. Last year, the Tigers went 42-17 with a season-ending loss against James Madison in the Super Regionals. Their season starts Friday against Penn State at Mizzou Softball Stadium.

Columbia Art League presents 'Let Them Eat Art!'
Columbia Art League hosted “Let Them Eat Art!” on Tuesday at the Missouri Theatre in Columbia. Local chefs created dishes inspired by pieces of art from the gallery. Eleven restaurants and catering businesses, one distillery and one winery were featured at the event. All of the art pieces are part of the "Savor" exhibition from Jan. 18 through Feb. 24. Columbia Art League’s next exhibition, "Tiny Things," opens March 1.
